Lorien Boreham, Vice President, Sponsorship and External Relations

Lorien is an Internal Communications Officer at the National Capital Commission, the federal Crown corporation dedicated to ensuring that the National Capital is a dynamic and inspiring source of pride for all Canadians, and a legacy for generations to come.

With eight years of experience in internal communications, Lorien is passionate about building strong workplace cultures through effective storytelling, strategic communication, and change management. With a diverse professional background that includes photography and administrative roles, she brings a unique blend of creativity, organization, and people-focused expertise to her work.

She seeks out opportunities to learn and grow, whether through professional development, new technology such as AI, or connecting with other communications professionals. She values hearing different perspectives and adapting new ideas for her work. Lorien is excited to apply her internal communications skills and bring her enthusiasm for learning to her role as Vice President, Sponsorship and External Communications.

In her personal life, Lorien is a proud mom to a busy toddler and enjoys experiencing the world through her daughter’s eyes, embracing new discoveries with curiosity and excitement. When she has some downtime, she enjoys watching TV and reading.
