Yashita Chhugani, Director, Digital Communications

Yashita Chhugani is a Communication and Media Studies student at Carleton University, pursuing a minor in Business (Entrepreneurship). She is passionate about strategic communications, digital marketing, and creative storytelling, with a particular interest in lifestyle, fashion, beauty, and consumer brands.

As Director of Digital Communications at IABC Ottawa, Yashita supports member communications and digital engagement initiatives that help connect and grow the chapter's community. She enjoys creating content that is both engaging and purposeful and is always looking for new ways to bring fresh ideas and creativity into communications.

Yashita is especially interested in the intersection of branding, social media, and audience engagement, and hopes to build a career developing campaigns that create meaningful connections between brands and people. Outside of work and school, she enjoys discovering new cafes and dessert spots, spending time outdoors on walks and hikes, and keeping up with the latest trends in social media and digital culture.

Through IABC Ottawa, she is excited to contribute to a community that supports collaboration, continuous learning, and the growth of communications professionals.
