Yahia Lahrech, Director, Creative Services

Yahia Lahrech is a Senior Graphic Designer, Art Director, and Content Creator with more than 20 years of experience in visual storytelling, brand strategy, and multimedia content. His multidisciplinary expertise spans art direction, graphic design, illustration, motion design, video editing, UI/UX, and 3D art. Throughout his career, Yahia has transformed complex ideas and information into engaging, accessible, and impactful visual experiences across print, digital, advertising, and multimedia platforms.

Currently working as a Senior Graphic Designer with the City of Ottawa, Yahia develops creative and strategic visual solutions for communications campaigns and supports the Recreation, Cultural and Facility Services Department and its theatres. His experience also includes senior design roles at the University of Manitoba, as well as leading his own creative studio and working as an Art Director in international agency environments. Passionate about creativity, collaboration, and continuous innovation, Yahia also creates digital content for WhyNot and volunteers as a Graphic Designer with IABC Ottawa.
