We’ve got an exciting season ahead, and I’m thrilled to kick it off with some big news, if you haven’t already heard: the IABC Canada Conference is coming to Ottawa this October! We’ll be the lucky hosts, welcoming communicators from across the country, so don’t miss your chance to connect, learn and get inspired. But that’s just the beginning! Our chapter calendar is packed with opportunities to sharpen your skills, expand your knowledge, build your network, and have some fun while you’re at it. This year, keep an eye out for our “What it’s like to work at” webinar series, where you’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at different workplaces and cultures in our unique communications community.

Volunteering is another fantastic way to get involved with IABC. Share the knowledge you have or volunteer to learn skill and add a nice touch to your resume.  We have plenty of opportunities to choose from.
